Similarities and differences in the hunger games book and movie.

One of the first differences  saw in the movie and the book, was when he mash came onto the stage in the book and fell off the stage making it making himself look like a fool for district 12. And in the movie Effie does not come to the reaping at all it is only Effie that comes to the reading and picks the names out of the bowl. Then after the reaping in the book Katniss was visited by her mother and her sister prim and then Gale then Peeta's father. Who promises to make sure Prim have food to eat and take care of her if she did not come back from the hunger games. But in the movie he did not go to visit her. Then also in the book the mayor's daughter gives Katniss. The Mockingjay pen. What in the movie her sister prim gives her the Mockingjay pen that Katniss got from the market.

 

 After the death of Rue The game makers showed Katniss putting flowers around Rue's body and they broadcasted to the other districts and the capital, they showed a rebellion in district 11. Although in the book The game makers edit that out and did not broadcasted. Also in the book district 11 send Katniss bread in the game. But they never did that in the movie. Then in the book and movie they show Katniss singing to Rue as she was dying.

 

 Then in the movie at the very end when the monsters come and attack the last three tributes. Fight on top of the cornucopia was very true to the book Katniss shoots Cato in the hand with an arrow and he's pushed back and falls today monsters. They do not just leave him there for a whole night being mauled by the monsters. Katniss immediately put him out of his misery with an arrow in the movie.
